About Pinar Ozevlat
Pinar Ozevlat is a London based creative designer with a Fashion and Textiles designing background. She comes from a family who has always been involved in the fashion and textile industry.

Her family originated from North Cyprus where her father was trained as a tailor from a young age and he continued his profession in the UK for many years.

Over the years this inspired Pinar to gain an education in this field. She first gained her HND in Fashion and Textile designing where she specialized in machine and hand embroidery at London College of Fashion. Straight after she continued studying at Ravensbourne College of Arts and Design where she gained her BA Hons in Womens Knitwear.

She has had the privileges of working for the designers Marjan Pejoski and Rachel Robarts as their assistant textile designer where she gained more knowledge and developed on her textile and embroidery skills.

Today she is happily married and has two beautiful daughters. With the support of her husband and love and care of her daughters, she decided to start her own business as a jewellery designer and launched her Debut Collection at the end of 2016.

Taking inspiration from her Turkish Cypriot background, Pinar started designing and making statement jewellery pieces using traditional sewing techniques, such as crochet and hand knitting. She incorporates Swarovski crystals and other semi-precious stones into her work to form her signature flower motif.

Pinar wants to bridge the gap between tradition and modern by using contrasting materials and techniques. She believes by doing this she will be designing unique handcrafted jewellery for the modern-day women.
